Frequently asked questions
Short answers to the most common questions about LifeScore. Email support@lifescores.orgif yours isn't here.
What is LifeScore?
LifeScore is a 3-minute self-assessment that scores you against publicly reported population benchmarks across eight areas of life: money, career, digital security, legal readiness, health, safety net, housing, and personal growth. The free version shows your archetype and a brief description of what it means. The $4.99 unlock includes your exact score and peer percentile, the 8-dimension breakdown (radar chart and per-area details), comparison cards showing where you are ahead and behind, plus a personalized 90-day action plan, calculations using your specific inputs, sourced benchmark deep-dive, and conversation scripts.
Is this financial, legal, medical, or professional advice?
No. LifeScore is an educational tool only. Nothing in the assessment or report is financial, legal, medical, tax, investment, or professional advice. Population benchmarks are estimates from public surveys; calculations are approximations based on the inputs you provide. Consult a qualified, licensed professional before making decisions about your money, legal documents, health, or taxes.
How does the $4.99 unlock work?
Click the unlock button on the results page. You'll be redirected to Stripe's secure checkout. Pay with any major card. Stripe sends you a receipt automatically and redirects you back. The page unlocks immediately and the URL becomes your permanent access link. Bookmark it.
Will my friends see my actual answers if I share my link?
Anyone with your unique result URL can see your full report (your answers are encoded in the URL). Treat it like a private link — share it intentionally. If you want to send the test to a friend so they take their own assessment, use the "See if you're ahead of your friends" button on the results page, which copies a clean link to the homepage instead.
Do you store my data?
Your assessment answers stay on your device — they live in your browser's local storage and inside the URL hash, never on our servers. Stripe collects payment details directly (we never see your card). Vercel Analytics records anonymized page views and conversion events with no personal information. See the Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.
What's your refund policy?
All sales are final. Because the unlock delivers the entire product immediately, refunds are not offered. We may, at our sole discretion, issue refunds in narrow cases such as a duplicate charge or a confirmed technical failure that prevented you from receiving access. Email support@lifescores.org if either of those applies to you.
Can I get my unlock on a different device or computer?
Yes. The unique URL of your unlocked report IS your access. Bookmark it, save it to a password manager, or just paste it into any browser on any device. It works anywhere.
Where do the benchmarks come from?
Public surveys and reports from the Federal Reserve (SCF and SHED), Bureau of Labor Statistics, Pew Research, Security.org, FTC Consumer Sentinel, CDC, Caring.com, FEMA, AEI, Cigna, Bankrate, FICO, and the Insurance Information Institute. Each statistic in the paid report is labeled with its source and year.
How do I contact you?
